Why have Youth Leaders?

A youth ministry cannot be run by the youth minister alone.
It takes dedicated adults who love the Lord and have a passion for telling teens about Him.
Youth leaders are in youth ministry because God has given them a passion for it.
They enjoy interacting with the teens.
Whether it is goofing off, asking how their day was or being a shoulder to cry on,
youth leaders play a critical role in the youth ministry.

Dear Potential Youth Worker,
Our ministry is always looking for quality volunteers to serve on our youth ministry team. We believe a solid ministry is built on relationships between adult staff and students. Relationships are the key to students feeling loved and understanding God’s love in real ways. THIS is when spiritual growth takes place in a teen’s life.

The quality of our staff is very important. We are looking for men and women who have a commitment to Christ and a desire to care for students. I encourage you to pray and look over the pages below. I invite you to attend youth events while you are making your decision. If you decide to join the team, fill out the commitment form and return it to Denise. Because we take our job of ministry seriously, we take our volunteers seriously.

Once I have received your commitment form, I will call you to set up a meeting. In the mean time, enjoy attending our Discipleship program or Sunday Gatherings.
